Do you think you grow spectacular garlic? Are you skilled at creating beautiful garlic braids? Are you passionate about garlic and have a way with words? Enter one of the following contests by dropping of entries at the Hills Recreation Society booth to the left of the main stage. Deadline for entries is noon.

  • Largest Garlic Bulb - Softnecked Varieties
  • Largest Garlic Bulb - Stiffnecked Varieties
  • Heaviest Garlic Clove
  • Prettiest Garlic Braid or Wreath
  • Best Garlic Themed Poem - Adult
  • Best Garlic Themed Poem - Youth

Raffles

The Hills Recreation Society raffles attractive baskets of Garlic Festival produce and products. Vendor donations are assembled into several baskets that are distributed to the lucky winners at the end of the day. Visit the Hills Recreation Society booth to purchase tickets and to preview the baskets. Winning tickets are drawn at 4:00 pm. You do not have to be present to win.

All proceeds will go to supporting recreation opportunities for youth in our community.
